Comparable, sold properties, replacement values, land values, market analysis, all of this knowledge is what you need to truly assess a property in Costa Rica. In fact many sellers in Costa Rica are just as informed and misguided on the value of their own property which just adds to the confusion that much more. Unfortunately in Costa Rica not all realtors are equal, so you will need someone sharp and professional.
