Costa Rica Real estate - Beginner Stage

It amazes me how many people I speak with who are interested in purchasing property in Costa Rica yet have never step foot inside the country.  Don't waste your time looking for properties when you have never even visited the country.  Costa Rica is a diverse country with many different climate zones and contrasting communities.  Instead spend your time planning your Costa Rica vacation, visit 2-3 different regions so you can get a better feel of the different area and confirm Costa Rica is where indeed you would like to purchase that dream property.  Once you have visited you will get a better understanding and can then start exploring options a bit more.
